Cool story. The coon didn't bite her correct? They carry lots of diseases.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

She had a few bloody scratches on the ears and face but she healed up without issue.

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

its funny how the little doggys always act like there the toughest bear on the hill, crazy little pup, i watched a coon give my hounds a run for their money for a minute or two, tough little buggers, does little pup get any of the grouse after that hard fought battle?  :chuckle:
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

Definitely, it was the fearless rat terrier in her I believe.  I doubt the cocker spaniel side is what pushed her into combat with a raccoon  :yike:

Yeah she always gets a little bit of grouse meat after a successful hunt.
