Brake Pad Suggestions

I need to replace the brake pads, all the way around, on my F150.  Any suggestions on which pads to go with? I have a pickup camper and pull boats and heavy trailers fairly often, so I'm looking to improve braking performance over the stock pads, and hopefully reduce the amount of brake dust.  I'm considering EBC Greenstuff, Hawk LTS, Napa Ultra Premium Ceramics... etc.  Any comments on any of these?  What about rotors, are the aftermarket rotors worth buying?

I have had pretty good luck with Schucks.  Although nothing will get you the life of the original pads.  I got 8 years on the original pads on my truck.  Now I switch them out every 2-3 years which isn't bad for 30 bucks.  Don't do pep boys.  I tried them recently and cant get rid of the squeak.  I am wondering if it could be the calipers instead of the pads.

I use lots of the Napa Adaptive One Ceramics at the shop with good success.

On the rotors, just go with a "premium" type rather than what they refer to as "daily driver" or something to that effect. They are worth the extra $$ for longevity and lack of warpage. I bought one set of drilled and grooved rotors for my daughter's Dodge Ram 2500 and will never get them again. They warped after only about a year. Never had that problem with un-drilled rotors.

Do not use ceramic pads on a heavy duty towing application
Do use a slotted rotor as an upgrade, not crossdrilled, just slotted
See if the Ford super duty pads are avail for your application

This leads to some more questions... How are the Motorcraft brake pads?  Are they the same as what came on the pickup?  If my rotors look fine (I only have about 67k on my pickup) would you recommend changing the rotors anyway?

EBC green's on one of my trucks.  EBC yellow's on the other.
Either version is without question the best disc brake materials I have ever had.  The yellows will kick out quite a bit more dust then the greens.  2500 vs 5000 miles or so.  The yellows seem to perform slightly better then the greens, just as advertised.

Motorcraft and Ford are different animals. Ford products "generally" are a notch higher in quality and also price. In all of my emergency equip I run Ford rotors under Motorcraft pads.

My votes for EBC green stuff...

EBC is hands down one of the best Brake component manufacturers out there. EBC Green stuff should be more than adequate for your needs. The hawks are ok, but for a guy that tows occasionally and has larger loads like a trailer, etc. you'll be happier with EBC performance! I used them on all of my trucks and recommend them for my friends and family also.
