Corner of Francis and Maple 10/26/13 (Prime Coyotes)
« on: November 26, 2013, 03:33:49 PM »
OK so the wife and I went to the store this afternoon. Getting ready for the Tryptophan poisoning Festival.
She looks out the window and say's look theres a deer in the pit on the North side of the road.
Nope Honey those are yotes. So I head up and they must live in the swale there. A couple of the best looking yotes I have seen in a while, But then when they are feasting on all the local pets why wouldn't ya!!

Do I get any points for photos?   :dunno:

I vote yes, town yotes should be worth some points.   nice capture.

KF just a shame to have that Prime of yote here. When I'm getting ready to come do some House Keepin in your back yard!!
Last run I had them above your place and to the north of me and then just in the back pasture on the fence line. All yipping and carrying on.

I saw a Ad in the Classifieds for some old skool tricks.   :chuckle:

yup - wish I could use some footholds  :tung:
We took a few out of the fields in daylight but they're getting wiser to that.

Asked momma for some night hunting lights for christmas this year, we'll see if I've been good enough.......
I'll put the sneak on them when they're yippin and carrying on.

Looks like they may have been as good a shape as they are.

Just hang around the dumpster.

I was thinkin a snare and a 5 gallon bucket. But then some of the local strays maybe come collateral damage also.    :dunno:

I still think this should be worth a couple of points for a photo capture as well!!!   :chuckle:

In another page of this saga!! Just about 5 minutes ago my "Ace" guard dawg starts to do a low growl so I go to check what has her upset. The motions go off in the front yard and I have a yote walking up the street and my front yard. It was headed in the general direction of where I saw the pair.

I would see them fairly frequently on cedar going up the hill when I lived up there. They just wouldn't stay I the road long enough to meet the chevy bumper...  :chuckle:
