Check out The Sportsman Guide (www.sportsmansguide.com)just picked up the disc extreme in 52. cal for 350.00.
It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need one and not have it.                                                                             Local 66 sheetmetal workers

There was one in the classifieds on here that came with a spare thumbhole stock.  I bought mine off gunbroker after I got impatient looking here in town.

Once you hold either the disc exreme or bighorn with the thumb hole stock it will be a simple decision. I had a bighorn with thumb hole and loved it, sold it and bought the disc extreme with thumb hole and love it even more. Thumb hole all the way. Just my  :twocents:

Thumbhole is the difference between a miss and a kill. Off hand shots are natural. I've got both and tend to leave my straight stock bighorn at home.

it is confusing but the gun is called a knight wolverine 209 and it might use the 209 primers.  another muzzleloader also has the model number 209.  why would anyone pick that number?  mike w

I've got the disc extreme with thumb hole. The thumb hole stock is real comfortable.
