the devil buck
« on: November 27, 2013, 08:40:30 AM »
I shot one of the more unique black tail bucks you will ever see back in the mid 80's in the pysht. He was a big bodied thing, old as hell. I sent a tooth (He only had a couple) in to get it aged but good old WDWF lost it. His hooves were worn half off and to this day, it was the only deer that was hard to eat. Even the tender loins were like eating jerky. Thank good for crock pots. I just took some pics of the horns but I don't know how to post pics. If someone wants to PM the cell  I will send them to be posted.

Gnarly looking rack....

I am addicted to weird racks.. love to see em...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Wow.  Very unique.  Wonder how long he had been regressing?
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I think I put him out of his misery.  He was rutting, he was stinky but he was still trying. His ears were ripped up. He probably ruled that area for a few years.
