Planned Low water on wanapum reservoir
« on: November 27, 2013, 11:14:26 AM »
Grant PUD will be drawing the Wanapum Reservoir very low through Dec. 6th.  I'm not certain it will be really low this weekend but the lowest day should be tuesday.  Use caution.  Some boat launches will not be usable during low water conditions.  You can plan accordinly by visiting -http://www.grantpud.org/community/rec-area-maps

Good luck and be safe!!!

Thanks for the heads up! Does that mean Priest Rapids pool and Ringold will be higher water?

I can't speak to the other reservoirs.  But I think there is going to be low flows next week through out the river system. Check out the link I posted previously.  It shows the the current water levels at the boat launches as well as the amount of water necessary to launch. It is extremely rare that we can predict water levels but this is an international draw down for surveys.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

Be safe and God Bless!
