Congrats!  Those are a massive animal and the few times I've had moose it was VERY tasty.

I had never met Jennifer before this hunt.  She lives in Ellensburg.  She drew a permit and stopped in at the Pend Oreille Valley Sportsman in Oldtown Idaho and asked about finding a place to hunt moose in unit 124 north.  Andy Nacarato that works there gave her my phone number is how we came to hunt together.  Great people at that sport shop, they will certainly do anything they can to help you hunt or fish.  Jennifer was fussy with her harvest.  She would not shoot a cow with a calf or one on the road.  It took us 7 weekends to find the right cow for her.

Way to go! That's a huge cow!! LOL Mine was a moose that needed to be on a road so my husband with 2 artificial hips could help me get it out, just the opposite of Jennifer's....
Great moose and the more time spent looking for moose the more fun it was!

What a great write up!!!!!

She was one of the hardest most dedicated hunters I have hunted with.  I was right next to her when she shot.  I honestly think it was the high point of all my years of hunting!
