Looks like familiar country. Congrats on a couple nice bucks.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Here's a pic I took of my buck. I wanted to hold out for one a little bigger but after scouting and some of the rifle guys post i decided a 4x4 would work. I am happy it worked out the way it did. 2 nice bucks and a great time in the new tent.

We Just cut them in half and packed them out on the boards. I have a pretty comfy pack board that handles weight good. I sowed my north face straps on my old packboard it was really worth it. Packed out two elk, two deer and a bear this year and my stitch job is still holding up. We skinned them and caped them in camp. The deer were frozen solid by the time we left.
