I bought a Safari from COSTCO for around $500 delivered. Does what I need it to. Take the advice of getting one that's too big for you now. It won't be for long.

And you should think about things other than guns:  cameras, passports, wills, etc

I bought a liberty Franklin from nwsafe and it fits my 20 guns, a crap ton of ammo, the wifes jewelry, all my important paperwork, and much more. And liberty safes have so many upgrades you can add to your safe.

All I can say if you need a 20 gun slot go for a 40+. Just don't understand when you put a 30-06 next to a .308 the next thing you know bingo a .243 emerges, they bread in a safe so you need good separation.  :chuckle: :twocents:

I think people get hung up on the fire rating to the point that they ignore the size of the safe they need.  How often does a house burn down?  I think houses get burglarized a lot more often than they burn down.  Especially these days....  :twocents:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
