There are several very nice dogs in the PAC NW that are being bred. Not all are competition dogs.

How are they proven then?

Since that likely comes off as a snobby comment, and I don't mean it that way, I should probably explain by saying one of the attractions I have to breeders who campaign dogs is it shows me their dogs can handle the pressures of training as well as the physical demands sometimes asked of when hunting. If a litter comes from parents that are proven at the extreme end I will probably have a dog that can do what I want it to and most likely be more forgiving of any training mistakes.

They ARE trained and they ARE hunted. Extensively.

Seeing as that is what the guy wants (a hunting dog). Would you not suggest he go and WATCH these dogs work?

Elhew,Most likely Sinbad.The body spots are indicitive of snakefoot/damascus influence as well,fibber McGee threw dogs with bodyspots as well.Bodyspots = Elhew influence, Miller pointers are almost always clear white with some very very light possible ticking on the ears.Fiddler blood dogs are almost always Black/white or liver/white. Rebel bred dogs are mostly Liver/white.
Be interesting to see the pedigree on the pointer pictured,The dog has a certain bloodline  "look"  about it that tells me "nope".

Oh really...do tell which "look" of bloodlines this dog has....I would LOOOOVVVEEE to hear it.

Huh....so I should tell my Fiddler bitch to get some ticking and more body spots, the Miller bitch/dog to lose some spots, and the Elhew to get some spots? LMAO

Meanwhile, here is a son of Sinbad...great dog. The owner has switched him over to HB trials of late. But he's done well in Coverdog.

Well lets see the pedigree on the orange dog.

Don't have one but I did just call FDSB and order one. He's Fiddler/Elhew stuff. More Fiddler than Elhew.

However, I DO have a copy of my Fiddler bitch's pedigree. I'll see if I have a pic of her. One tail spot....ZERO NO TICKING or any other body spots. Almost pure white and she is linebred linebred Fiddler.

These are just her running around the airing yard.

Scanner is not working but her sire is Yastrzemski. Dam is I B Bean.

I'll see what I can find on the male (Orange Dog) that I have. Never planned on breeding him (He's 4 years old) so never registered him but I am sure I have the reg certificate somewhere.

The Fiddler bitch I bred once to an Elhew male who I no longer have and don't have any of his info. One of those pups was Q'd for the Nat'l Open with Tim Schillereff. The others went to hunting homes.

And for the folks that messaged me, I am not breeding Pointers. All of my pointer girls are spayed. But I do know some folks that had or will have some pups available.
