lopez island deee!
« on: December 04, 2013, 03:26:09 PM »
Just curious as to if anyone on this site lives, hunts or has hinted Lopez island before. My grandparents live up there, and I go there quite a bit to visit. I see tons of deer every time I'm there and even see a few decent blackies! Just wondering if anyone else has been there  :dunno:

Island hunting is definalty dependent on who you know. Lopez and many other island are well known for having "pet deer" If your grand parents have lived there a long time you can likely hunt plenty of places.... If your not an islnader then your options are going to be much more limited.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

They have lived up there for as long as I can remember and more! They know well everyone pretty much. That island isn't the biggest. I was thinking of maybe hunting there next year just to get a shot at a blacktail. I was just curious if anyone has shot a deer over there or seen and good bucks
