Dang it was cold today, We started out in –3 deg weather and a 12mph northern wind. BullElk finally decided to contribute to the team and he ended up with 2, SageBrushstalker piled up one and all I got was cold. Here’s the coyote pics. My camera’s batteries died in the cold weather so these are phone pics. I'm headed for the hottub with some Crown Royal and NO ICE.

Boneaddict, I got out this morning. There was a yote within 25 yards. He went back into the brush and then eyeballed me from within the blackberry bushes. I had my bow but there was no good shot. I might go back out with my pistol next time. Oh well.

Well I went out in the freezing weather and found all sorts of tracks but never go a coyote to come in. I did manage to step in a den hole that was cover with snow and hurt my knee, my leg went in up to just past my knee :o. I know why I haven't been seeing anything now as well, some one has found my spots. :dunno:

The weather turned into such a good day for hunting coyotes I talked myself into putting off my Christmas stuff and went out. Got my first one at a dead run at 263 lasered yards. He was almost to the top of the hil behind me and he took it in the bottom of his chest. The next one I called in and when he stopped at 78 yrds I got him right in the boiler room. The 2nd one was a dinker, They kept getting smaller so I figured if I got a 3rd one it would hard to tell from a jackrabbit so I quit and came home.
Sorry for the cutoff pic of the 1st so I included a pic of how it piled up. The 2nd one was really small but I'm claiming my point anyway. By the way how do you like my new camo top. :chuckle:  Today's gun was a .243 shooting a 65gr V-max at 3719 fps. Definitely not fur friendly by sure does the DRT.

Excellent Ray.  Kill that bugger.  I might get out tomorrow, but probably only with the lens.
I sent your teamate after two of them Demontang.  Hope he gets them.  I had 4 run up my driveway in the night last night.  They'll screw up one of these days.

haha! yeah, first shot was a running one ended up in the gut. he ran about 200 yds laid down and gave me a nice 300yd'er or so, that went in his ear.
