Here's one from late this afternoon, BullElk and I went out. He called it in to approx 100 yds and dropped it with his 22-250.
She was in heat so the mating is on

Yep, We'll have crunchy snow now after it freezes again. That sucks.

Very nice job JJ. BTW what are you shooting them with? One looks like a Cooper and the other looks like an H&S Prec.

You are exactly right, Sage.  A Cooper Montana Varminter in .204 and my custom .300 win with an H.S. stock.

Here's one from this morning, Another runner. He was going directly away from me and at 219 yrds he did a right turn and slowed to a lope, I gave him a 32gr .204 pill to swallow. Started snowing so hard I came home.
Todays gun was a EBR :chuckle: shooting a 32gr at 4160 fps. The upper is a Model 1 w/ 24 in heavy barrel. A Stag lower with Rock River parts including the NM trigger. Of course I'm wearing my lucky skull camo jacket again.

Gosh darnit. Everyone's whacking em good and I am missing out. I got up on one about an hour ago. I took a shot at about 50 yards with my pistol but missed. Maybe I can sneak away from home later this week and go east.
