Here is a few pics of some Blacktails in the area that I hunt. I like the double throat patch, but he needs a few more years to fully develop.

True. But he needs one more year. Hopefully nobody will harvest him first. He has made it through the hunting season so far this year. If he makes it through I will get him in Sept when archery opens up.

Beautiful pics. If you kill that 2nd buck I would love to know what he scores.  I killed one very similar in Cali in 2005 that scored 121 6/8.
