Nobody picked that up over Christmas? Rick, could you make a closed reed call with the same burl and look? Put em both on one lanyard? I'd buy the pair if you can do that. Like to try out that RR2 tone board. Thanks.

I'll turn another RR2 openreed tomorrow and a closed reed. Have a bunch of amboyna burl. Makes a great call. Rick

What's the difference between the open and closed reed?
Ill buy one Rick. Find me your best piece of amboyna burl with the most character. I just had my girl a knife made in the same stuff and I would be great to have in our collection.

Here is a closed reed. easy to use killer sounds. A openreed little harder to learn. But more sounds. The RR2 Toneboard is easy to master. Rick

Thanks Rick, money is in the mail to you for a matched set of open and closed reed calls. Your calls sound great and look superb! This is my Christmas present to myself this year. Maybe post a picture here when you finish them?  Hope you are feeling better.

Coyote calling mostly. Trying to sound like a dying rabbit, sometimes trying to sound like a coyote. It's more fun and challenging than you can imagine. Rick's a pro, I'm still learning.

There used for calling all predator. The openreed call will do Elk for cougar and bear also can work for bobcat and coyote. Mainly Rabbit sounds. The closed will do Great deer distress bear or cougar also bobcat and coyote. Will do mainly Rabbit sounds to. The calls and my R1 toneboard are killer on coyotes. Rick
