Dear Jim,

 Native wildlife species are beloved and ecologically important residents of our national parks. Washington residents can speak out to help protect one of these majestic animals, the endangered gray wolf.

Last week, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) held its last public hearing on the proposed delisting of nearly all gray wolves in the lower 48 states—a move that would remove Endangered Species Act protections and open the possibility of legal wolf hunting in much of the country. Despite an overwhelming outcry from Washingtonians wanting to be heard on this issue, none of the hearings were held in the Pacific Northwest. But we won’t be ignored.

Join us for our Washington for Wolves rally and citizens’ hearing to speak out against the misguided proposal to delist nearly all gray wolves in the Lower 48.

Not only will you have the chance to testify before a panel of wolf experts, but you’ll also learn details about the current wolf situation in Washington and why it’s crucial to maintain federal protection. We will submit testimony to FWS, so please bring a written copy for the official record.

WHEN: Sunday, December 15, indoor rally, 2 - 3 p.m. and citizens testimony, 3 - 5 p.m.

I'd say us fish and wildlife should admit the truth and label this crowd as terrorists for destroying our ecosystem by introducing wolves.  Next step, arrest the whole bunch and throw away the key.

I wonder what they would do if some of us showed up at their little rally, sat right in the front, and took pictures of everyone that went up to speak along with writing their name down. We would probably get arrested and the news would have a field day with the intimidation factor. Oh well... just some thoughts.

If they did the same at one of our meetings, banquets, etc. it would be exercising their rights. If we did the same thing we would be labeled agitators, problem makers, or malcontents and likely escorted out if not worse.

......................again, the libs are having a meeting where it doesn't affect them, irrational meeting times ( on purpose ) and most that will show up will be wolf lovers with no confrontation from hunters in the know.

the meeting should be at cabelas since they buy their hiking equip, there and needs to be after work so the people that actually do work can attend.

The gift store in Avery Idaho sells Smoke a Pack a Day T shirts. I have one.........

  Idaho had to change a law so that IDFG did not have to give out hunter names/personal info. to some of these eco clowns.  Every week or so they would do a public records request for hunters that harvested a wolf, then the eco's were posting names and addresses on a website.

It was definitely an intimidation/harassment attempt...but I was kind of hoping for some mis-informed eco terror hippie to show up at some wolf killing ol' boys house in Kooskia or Avery!
