cold out
« on: December 09, 2013, 10:06:28 PM »
My grandson brought his fiance up to go turkey hunting. She never hunted until this year and has not gotten a shot at any thing. They got up at 5am Sunday morning to go set under a tree near where about 200 birds are roosting. The temperature was minus 7. They set until 8am, almost all the birds went the opposite direction. A few birds finally showed up at marginal range. She shot and didn't get any thing. Proud of her in that cold, and came back even more excited about all she saw and what a great time she had.  She had to leave and get back to college and study for finals.

College finals have a tendency to make anything else look like fun.   :chuckle:
