Thinking about purchasing one myself. However I must not be on the correct website as they state none are available.
that may be the case my buddy tried to buy one an there was only 20 left 10 minutes ago.

I think you guys are talking about Kapowsin, THIS THREAD IS ABOUT SNOQUALMIE! 169 Snoqualmie permits left.

I read 855 permits left right now for Snoqualmie.

I know Hancock didn't switch the numbers for Snoqualmie till about noon yesterday.

Sorry for your loss in the Snoqualmie permit.

This year I came across two different cougar traps, both baited with 1/2 deer carcass. Just for interest, I took a peek at these traps each time in for late archery, but no cats caught in the traps on my observance.

I can confirm also seeing a cougar trap, never a big cat in real the flesh though. I saw a bobby crossing the main-line once.

There is plenty of wildlife in there. Being close to 100k acres, it doesn't take much to get away from the crowds; you just have to put some miles behind you. I wouldn't hunt elk there, only seen them in the spring.

I figure spend the $ on firewood, everything else is bonus. Factoring how much $ is spent on fuel driving around on logging roads, $250 really isn't that much (then again I only get 10 mpg). I've literally put hundreds of miles on my rig exploring in there, there is so much diversity in landscape; you can find what you need.

They bought the White River Tree Farm last month. They already purchased a small portion of the Kapowsin Tree Farm (last year I believe). And they hunt the Snoqualmie Tree Farm

The cougar traps are for the cougar study they have going on in there. They are set out by the biologist.
