I had that one...well it was shot well after rifle season in Ferry co as a few bowhunters were pursuing this buck and had pics of it alive. Then it all the sudden was killed and pics surfaced of this guy holding it and has a tribal tag on it..WDFW has stated it was poached...my guess is they are lacking info/evidence to convict

That's the story I've heard... Terribly unfortunate. Sounds like the guy that killed it had his tribal friend tag it.  :bash:
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

YES, but those tags have numbers and assigned to the individual...WDFW said it was poached if that was the case then the man who tagged it would be in the clear and this wouldnt be a "Poached" case

Poached if a non-tribal member kills a deer out of season and has his friend tag it.

I asked the guy in that photo today why there are pics circulating social media of him holding a poached buck..he wouldnt anwser and I kept asking..he says " I dont care"   :yike:  I dunno about you, but I would be clearing things up if there was photos of myself going around like this....all he has done is attack and use slander against everyone instead of explaining or defending himself. A taxi even offered a free mount if he would provide a story and signed statement and field photos..he has declined..what a shock!

I would think if WDFW knew this he would be cited by now
