new rest

Finally tired of the whisker biscuit. Looking for a something that contains the arrow, but in a drop away. What would you get?

QAD Ultarest LD, HD, or HDX depending on what you want to spend. $110-$140.  Great rests, we've never had an issue with one and they're very easy to set up. Full containment. Very user friendly. Have rest come up 1" before full draw, tie cord in even with bottom of grip, and set your nock point correctly and you will not get fletching contact. The rest stays up if you let down as well. I use the HDX on my Reezen.

I have a limbdriver and wouldn't use it for hunting because of the loud click they make when they're forced down into the metal stop. Arrow flight is very good and it tunes well though, just loud. I have the limbdriver on my target bow

Trophy taker smack down pro and FC extreme are also good rests, I have nothing bad to say about them. Since the launcher falls behind the arrow shelf it can be easier to set up on bows with a curved arrow shelf like Hoyts. I have this rest on my Vector turbo.

Overall I recommend the QAD LD for $110, or the HDX for $130. Very user friendly and easy to set up with full containment. The LD has the same internals as the HDX, but the HDX has a micro adjustment for the cord which is very useful, and a curved containment bar for more fletching clearance.

I used the Limb Driver on one of my bow.  The other bow I had the LD Pro V on.  I don't use the containment bracket.  I like the setup.  No issues and easy to tune.

I recommend the QAD ultra  or the Smack down pro.   The smack down is a capture and extremely easy to tune!  Either one is a great choice!!

Been shooting the smackdown pro this last year and love it. Shot a limbdriver in a 3d, it was quite and  the bow shot very well. Dont care for the qad to much or the ripcord. Seen the plastic arms broken in cold weather to offten.

I went from the Whisker to the Trophy Taker full containment drop away and it made a huge difference.  Been using it for two years and no troubles. Also easy to tune.

There are only two full containment fall away rests you will find on my equipment.  Ripcord and AAE's DOA
