They sure are decieving. My female was 109 pounds, guts, feathers and all....11 years old. I've seen cats that weighed up to 186...but there is no doubt that a 140-160 pound cat is BIG! (well...and so is that 130! :))

You hear a LOT about the 200 pound cats.... yeah sure...

the one i shot last year jumped up 5ft from me and took off running. it stood waste high to me and im 6' 225lbs. this cat made me look tiny. unless you shoot alot of cats and know exactly what you are looking at its very hard to judge a cat that big. it looked to be an easy 200lbs maybe more. paw tracks in the snow were as big as my hand.

BUT after seeing what a 130 cat really looks like then the cat i shot probably wasnt over 200lbs. though it was alot bigger then the one pictured.

I am guessing 139 lbs.  Nice lion.

Well the cat was a  7 1/2 footer measured on the carcass , and weighed in at 130lbs live weight and aged at 8 years or older. I just wanted people to see what a 180 lb cat doesnt look like :chuckle: Alot of people really miss judge caougars . Real deceiving huh  :) I would have thought it weighed more than 130 by the pics though. Funny thing is his carcass measurements fit right on the biggest lifesize cougar forms they have in my main supplier.
