Hunter Orange?

I'm going to try bowhunting for deer this next year and I was wondering if you guys wear hunter orange.  I'm planning on buying my camo soon and I would prefer to go head to toe.  I looked at the regs and it doesn't look like there is too much season overlap, but I don't want to get shot either.  Any information/suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

during season overlap yes you have to wear it, otherwise NO

First year bow hunting I worre orange head to toe people thought I wass nuts but I got my deer. Have camo now and love it.only wear orange in overlaps now.

Depends on where you hunt,  I don't see a single hunter all season and only camo up.  Never considered it before but if I was hunting an area with a lot of archers I guess I would throw on a camo / orange hat for safety.  You never know nowadays.

If I were so worried about getting shot while wearing camo out archery hunting................. I think I'd give up hunting those areas. 

With that said, I suppose blaze camo pattern clothes really would work just fine for deer hunting.  So, if you feel better being out there with orange, blaze camo would be the way to go.

Seein as how I remember my grand dad, dad, and more than a few uncles leaving camp at the same time, dad and uncles in camo and grand dad in his old blue jeans and cowboy shirt and grand dad was always the first one back at camp with a deer hanging before anyone else got there, I don't think it matters much if you're a good hunter.  Feeling invisible is a nice feeling though.

I only wear orange during archery if there is overlap or when bringing out an animal.  I always keep something orange in my pack.

I like AZ's idea on hunter orange, it's your choice.

When I hunt with my bow during modern if I have a modern tag.   Doesn't really make a difference.

Wearing hunter orange doesn't seem to bother deer in the slightest. Deer are color blind. Movement is what they see. But if they locate you and they see camouflage they run like hell

I agree but in some low-light conditions, fluorescent colors (hunter orange) glow and are more visible regardless of the color we see them as.

Last weekend I saw a guy dressed in a Santa suit shoot a nice buck out of a tree stand on tv. Close it is more about having your movement spotted vs. The color of camo your wearing.
