Send jackmaster a PM, he lives on a pond and might be able to help you out.

Welcome to huntwa! Tough areas to find places to hunt private land owners would probably be your best bet...

Years ago a friend of mine hunted in the Kent/Auburn valley near the dog pound, some ponds back there.
He had one of those pocket fisherman with a large treble and bobber set up to retrieve (no dog)
I don't know if you still can shoot back there though...

There are a few blinds at bass lake in enumclaw. I'm heading out today. You have to have a boat for this lake though. PM me if you want to go sometime. THIS is my first year hunting as well and I live in the area. This is the closest spot I know of.

Have you tried looking at the feel free to hunt spots listed on the WDFW page?

Stan Marsh: "My Uncle Jimbo says we gotta get up there early. Right Uncle Jimbo?"

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."
