GMU 215 Sinlahekin
« on: November 08, 2008, 11:53:07 AM »
I was just curious if anyone went in to the Sinlahekin unit for deer this year? I would greatly appreciate any info on this area.

Thanks  :hello:

Rephrase that question!  Who didn't go into the Sinlahekin this year?  Seems to be getting rather popular, with the deer population staying the same!

Nothing but a pumpkin patch now. I think deer number are down and hunter numbers have quadrupled. I was there on the opener and will never do that again.  :bash: :'( I quit hunting the Methow years ago for the same reason. I am in the process of finding a "new" area to focus on for the coming years.

Thanks for the info guys.

It sounds a bit crowded :bash: :bash:. I guess I will have to find another area for next year. Since the cowiche sucks when it comes to deer hunting.  :'( :'( :'(

I have hunted this area for 12+ years during the late archery. I've noticed the number of hunters is up and the deer number are down, especially last year. Been thinking about switching to the Pogue unit, but know nothing about the area..Any help with this???

Hunted that area since 86. Camped at the campground at the N. end of blue lake for years. Lota people now. moved over to the Conconully side. East side of Middle Mt. Mule deer herd is way down! Whities clear up on top now! Between Blue Goat and  Funk Mt. on the canyon side. Above Fish lake. They should be down some for the late hunt. Its gettig to be a zoo now cause they opened it to Quads :bash:
Take a kid hunting or fishing, Pass it on, it's not yours to keep!
