With single digits most of the open water is froze over. Well yesterday I took off work early to look for geese and found some open water with 100's of ducks on it. Then late in the afternoon I saw at lease a 1000 ducks flying south. Looks like there is a big push of ducks coming down.
Going to set up on the open water today, hope they stick around and don't head out on this worm front coming.

I noticed a pair of buffs in our creek yesterday...first ove seen all season.
Also heard what sounded like thousands of geese the night before last.

Been seeing tons of ducks and geese moving in on the Eastside! Its about to get really good!!!

No pictures but it was a great day. 4 shy of 3 limits. Only problem was they came in in large groups, so you shoot and the hole group goes. It was a grind after the large flights came, 1's, 3's and 4's after that.
