There's wolves in the darrington area as well
I'm sure I heard a pack of wolves out by the lake chaplain area near Monroe today.
Are you sure you didn't hear dogs? there is houses pretty close to there.
I lived in Idaho for 15 years. the god damn wolves ran me out there. I no what I herd . you have to be careful out there. its almost as bad as walking down town seattle.  :yike:
:tinfoil: :mgun: :mgun: :brew:  Go get em Lone wolf :chuckle:
What part of Idaho are you from Wolf?   Sounds pretty rough :party1:
Sorry 89er I like to keep on the down low. But your right its very rugged. I would love to take you on a journey, but the elevation changes are quiet extreme. One mistake and you will be coyote bait. :chuckle: :bdid:

I can vouch for wolves in Darrington. I saw a group of four several years ago up there and a friend found a dead one the same area.

Not a surprise since 10 years ago i Saw 4 2 miles outside of Sedro Woolley, and My wife and mother have seen them Near Lake Cavanaugh on separate occasions.

Been stories of a few here outside of Granite Falls, from credible folks including 1 LEO I know. 2 black ones on Green Mountain a few years ago from what I understand. I moved out here 10 years ago and used to see deer regularly, not so much anymore  :dunno: One gal I know swears she saw one while hiking up on the Mountain Loop Hwy.

Notice more and more of the NFS roads are shut down and not to be repaired in this neck of the woods???? Coincidence???  I really wonder if it is so no one can see what is running around in the hills around here.

Interesting. I know the Forest Service has no plans on fixing and opening up the 41 road off the Mountain Loop Hwy, up Green Mt. past the 8 mile mark. There's a lot of road left past 8 miles, and access to Tupso Pass and Three Fingers trails. Some good area too  :bash:.

Yes, Yes and no....  :tinfoil:

Chit was designated to change since the mid 1990's, just taking NFS forever to actually do it since they're all broke and such somehow
