Got my blacktail
« on: December 21, 2013, 02:37:34 PM »
So 2013 season came and I got drawn for the multie deer permit for the first time of putting in for it. When bow season came saw lots of does and bucks but no good bucks I jumped one good 3pt in September but was never able to let arrow fly. So then muzzeloader started but I don't got a muzzeloader so I still hunted with bow they muzzeloader season and once again I jumped the same 3pt again and no shot again. Then rifle season started so I headed out opening day morning and found the 3pt in a cut and I ranged him at 432 yards so I felt comfortable with that distance so I took a shot and guess what happen I clearly missed the buck I never saw the buck again so rest of season I saw buck but didn't see any worth taking a shot at. So bow season came again and I went out to mossyrock unit  on December 20th after work saw deer moving a lot in the wind and rain came around saw a clear it and there was a doe at 44yards so I let arrow fly to put meat in freezer and I was able to fill my deer tag it was a good start to my birthday weekendand I was able to have my 2 year old daughter with me she was way excited to help pull to truck. Goodluck hunters and happy holidays
