I'm really excited also Wonky, coming up soon. Last year I went & high temp of 15 degrees up in the snow. Was not ready at all, but this year more prepared. I'm heading up 19Th towards nile area and staying through the weekend. Have a great late season and hope you connect. Mike

:P  yeah buddy the clock seems to be going slow but it will come. went and got permission slips to hunt a farm with 1000+ acres and it has a herd of 150 plus in a 3 point or anterless unit. so i hopefully will get a bull but a cow would be nice. good luck to you other fellas.
any day i shoot my bow is going to be a better day

i didnt plan on hunting this late season sence i didnt have a truck. but now i do and i sold my bow in september so the only way i can hunt elk now is with a 45lb recurve which i would need to buy arrows for.

Nice tent Crunchy. I have the same. Even after a week of pouring rain I've stayed dry.

Ya its the Big Horn 3.  Ive spent about 10 nites in it, and have no complaints.  Flatter ground yes, but options were few as far as locations.

I'm really excited now.  Was doing a little scouting yesterday at no'tellum creek and came across a six by hanging out with a bunch of cows.  I wish the weekend would hurry up.

Boy am I glad I checked the regs one last time before heading out tomorrow!!! Because I woulda been in big doo doo since the late season isn't starting til the 19th!!!!!!  I don't know why I kept thinking the late season started on the 15th.  Well I gues I will head to the archery range instead and get some last minute practice in.
