Great job! I was in West MT last month and tried to call some wolves with no success. I guess the howler is a better idea than the distress. What sort of howler were you using? I still have my wolf tag but no more vacation!

I use the howler by Rocky Jacobson, I think its called the Wolf Pack?. Really easy to blow and great sound, I use my voice a lot too. The wolves answer up pretty easy right now. Not very many people hunting them right now.

I know yesterday that the Idaho wolf killed were at 140, with 40 killed being in the Panhandle alone.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
