I have been happy with the cabelas CG 15.
I was starting to seal about 25 lbs of smoked cheese last weekend when the element burned out. Found replacement parts on the web for pretty cheap.
If I lived near the coast I would probably do the chamber vacuum, but I don't seal enough to justify it at this time.

I went to Sport Co in fife yesterday expecting to purchase one of the mid range Vacuum sealers they had a Weston Pro 2300 for somewhere around 365.00, and one called the Vac Master or something like that, around the same price, they appeared similar in just about every way including being made in Taiwan, I put both back on the shelf, I am not spending that kind of money on a sealer that's not made in the USA.
