Good for Phil. The Bible is clear, this world will persecute Christians for being faithful and holding strong to your convictions. Biginer, your scripture quote of Galatians 1:10 describes Phil's actions to a T.

This garbage media in our country screams tolerance, unless the views expressed are those rooted in Christian beliefs. Complete hypocrisy.

Since this purchase earlier this year I wonder what changes will be in our future?

Al Jazeera Media Network has announced that it has acquired US cable channel Current TV.

The Qatar-based network said on Thursday that with the acquisition it plans to create Al Jazeera America, a US-based news channel. Al Jazeera’s coverage will soon be available in more than 40 million US households, up from 4.7 million prior to the deal.

Whether you agree with what Robertson said or not is immaterial, its that he is being punished for expressing his opinion, a first amendment right and that's wrong.
As well, A&E has the right to fire him as a result of what he said and we have the right not to watch the garbage on their channel.

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

:yeah:  Both sides have rights and both sides exercised their rights. I really don't think either side is wrong we just have to decide which side we side with.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

40 million available, 13,000 tune in daily!  Al Gores network drew 18,000 before it was sold to Al Jazeera.

Can't expect they'll be much of a force of change.

Duck Dynasty had 8.6 million viewers at its season premiere. I think the push back on A&E will be huge from the Duck Dynasty viewers.
