He stated a list of sins from the bible, bestiality and being gay are both sins, are they not?  So yes he compares them becuase they are both sins.

Ugh.  Free speech is alive and well!  He isn't going to jail.  He has been "suspended" for making dumb remarks in a public forum that are not in his employer's best interest or reflect what his employers believe. 

"In a statement, A&E said it was extremely disappointed to see Robertson's anti-gay remarks, which it said were based on his personal beliefs and do not reflect those of A&E Networks or the show."

Not really relevant anyway, sins aren't compared or ranked in Scripture, they all earn the same wage.

We all know that this is an easy way for A&E to shut the show down. They were probably the ones who asked GQ to interview Phil, knowing full well what he would say. To be perfectly honest, I am shocked that a show that ends in a Christian prayer every episode was able to last on a popular television station as long as it did. I have the utmost respect for the Robertson family for preaching the gospel and not being afraid of the consequences. Way to go Phil, you make me proud.

Everything you said I agree with. With the exception of "dumb".

As for a&e. If they consider remarks being "anti-gay" when someone repeats that homosexually is a sin, well maybe they just aren't a Christian company. They get to choose what shows they would like on their channel so if they don't want Phil on there, that's their call.
