who has deer tags left?
« on: December 20, 2013, 12:29:58 PM »
Getting very close to end of the year and I'm still looking for a deer to put my tag on.  Anyone else hunting still?

Yep, spent 9 days in Dec chasng ELK and saw a few deer.  Hope to find a better area before the season closes.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I still have my multi tag. Although having my second kid born in Oct has really set a slow hunting pace. Maybe one day of hunting every 2 weeks  :yike: ...

I'm still packing my deer and elk tags. Going to be eating a hardy bowl of tag soup this year.  :bash:
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day at work.

Still have mine. I might blindly checkout public land in 407. Was going to go to Whidbey, but I think the areas of public land I know about are not open to hunting this late in the season. Too bad my aunt is a crazy hippie that loves animals, or I would have some private land to hunt on Whidbey. Might be eating tag soup again.  :bash:
