2013 Buck
« on: December 21, 2013, 07:24:24 PM »
I got my 2013 buck opening day of the late season for modern firearm. He's a small 3x3 and by far is definitely not the biggest buck I've ever seen or shot but, since I'm leaving for the Army in January and only had one weekend to hunt I wasn't going to be very picky. I hunted hard all day and that morning jumped a monster 5x5 but wasn't able to get a shot at him. I shot this guy at about 300 yards with my 7mm Rem Mag shooting 139 grain GMX superformance hornady. And hit him with one shot and he went down like a sack of potatoes.

Great job!!
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
