chronograph
« on: December 23, 2013, 02:17:09 PM »
So I'm curious what my destroyer 350 is actually shooting besides using online guestimates. So I was wondering if anyone around the yakima area has a chronograph I can shoot through.

If you get over here(Puyallup), you can shoot thru mine. PM me if that might work out.
I've plugged a few numbers into the internet calculators and they always seems to give a higher speed than actually shooting thru a chrono.

this maybe a bit more of a project than you are interested in but there is a DIY Chronograph made out of wire and a software for your computer. It works off of the disruption metal makes as it passes through a wire coil. Really rather ingenious. Oh you need to be an AT member to see the pictures.
