« on: December 26, 2013, 12:41:37 PM »
Anyone know who has the best price in Washington for a tikka t3 stainless in 300 win mag, I tired to go local ( west coast armory) but they want $700, cabelas has it for $679

Anyone have a better price?

$679, that sounds like about the best price I've seen for the stainless.

I think 680.00 is pretty standard for the stainless magnums. Sportsmans warehouse is were I buy most of our tikka's. I have got a couple at gun shows for a little cheaper wheeling and dealing. Sportsmans also has a exclusive model that is stainless and fluted.

What's the difference between the fluted barrel and standard? Any advantage?

Just called the sportsman in pullayup, $625 but it doesn't have a fluted barrel.

Not much difference the fluted will be a little quicker to cool the barrel and I think they are pretty dang close in weight. It's a special model they do just for sportsmans. The Portland warehouse has them in stock most of the time. If you just asked for a stainless tikka I think they are 630.00 but the magnum guns I think are +50.00.

Why buy new?  The second you walk out the door, your new tikka will be the same price as the one on here.  I would pick up the used one, shoot it, if it doesn't shoot to your liking, sell it for what you paid for it.  Every Tikka I have gotten behind shoots lights out.

No tax no papers and has all the extras.
Add $30 for the limbsaver pad
Add $40 for the rings
Add $40 in tax
Sounds perfect to me :dunno:
