A slit is not acceptable.Securely attached to the carcass in avisible manner.
As I said before, legal to kill . thanks for the entertainment though.

Im confused, i attach my tag to the animal i have killed, but when i go to report it (by jan 31st, or the 10th if you want to be in the incentive drawing) its called a harvest report...And when you report they ask if i remember right (since i reported 3 months ago)if you harvested a buck, if you click yes they ask how many antler points per side...so
Killed, definitely killed that deer, gut, skin, cut wrap and consumed also......Harvest does not mean the same to me at least, as i can harvest a plant but it is not yet dead, some cut plants can be put into water and will continue to survive and become there own plant and the cut one will regrow where it was harvested at...*So humm for the sake of argument, what if this deer is in an antler point restriction unit, then it sheds becoming antleress and legal to antlerless tag holders...seems like a conumdrum to kill it at this point...
If they only allowed does to be taken, they would say does only, not antlerless. The tag would be called a doe tag. They call it an antlerless hunt which means all deer without legal antlers. This includes buck fawns and apparently bucks who's antlers are less than 3 inches long if the above definition is right, and bucks that have shed their antlers. There is nothing unethical about shooting a buck that meets the legal requirement. In fact it's probably worded "antlerless" to prevent people who shoot an antlerless buck from getting a ticket. This is no more unethical than shooting a doe that carries legal antlers.[/quoteSo if you saw a doe with antlers would you shoot that?
