Trail Camera in Trapping
« on: December 28, 2013, 01:01:22 PM »
Old Customer of mine called me and said that she saw a big bobcat on her property over by her pond.  She said if I wanted it I can trap it so I thought I would set up a couple of my trail cameras.  Caught this coyote eating a duck that he must of taken off of her pond.  What are you catching on your trail cameras?

If I had really deep pockets I'd get some of those trail cameras that when they take a picture they text it to your phone.

How cool would that be for trapping?   Assuming you lived in a cellular service area which I don't   :chuckle:

Some of those trail cameras you can send a text to the camera to make it take a picture, or take video then send it back to your phone.
Pretty cool stuff.

For trapping couldn't you could text the trail camera to take a picture of your empty trap to satisfy a 24 hour check requirement??
I don't see why not, the text would have a time stamp on it along with the picture.

We just got back from setting my son's trail cam.. Dunno what we'll be seeing. Don't expect Elk, but just about anything else could get captured digitally.
