A big ATTABOY for Birdguy!
« on: February 17, 2014, 12:04:08 PM »
A couple of years ago I gave Birdguy a pretty good deal on a batch of chukar eggs.  Well, yesterday Birdguy did me one better, and gave me 10 adult chukar.  :whoo:  3 cocks, and 7 hens.    That's enough to get a small colony going again, and have a couple for early training.

Thank you David!  :kneel:

Old Dog, just proof you NEVER know when a good deed will come back around. I was more than happy to help a fellow bird raiser, you never know I may need eggs again someday. That is the way I was raised and hope my kids see things the same way in their lives.

Gasman, I think we have met a couple times, you bought some bob whites from me several years ago while training the pup you lost. If I remember right we met in the McDs parking lot off of 512. We have also met at Cableas at a turkey hunting clinic or by chance at the sportsman show a  few years back.

Speaking of chukars, anyone know where we could get about 75 for a trial at Sunnyside in April?
There's a reason I like dog's more than people

Sorry Don, us western WA guys spend way too much for heat and food to have many birds this time of year. I do not even know anyone raising them anymore. One of the reasons I gave the few I did to Old Dog as he is planning on getting back into them .
