Robin hood

Went out practicing my punching and started feeling better at 10 yards, so i started moving back at 20 yards and when i finallly started coincentrating at 20 yards my 5t arrow robin hooded....i will post a picture or video later.....

What are the odds of shooting a robin hood.

id say the odds are very good if you shoot all the time, thats cool you got one!! personally after my 7th I got tired of them , well my dad got tired of paying for them lol........ been shooting multiface of 1 arrow per target ever since

   The first few are neat, then IMO it's a waste of good arrows.

I don't know what the odds are but I've got one. It was from 30 yards with my old Hoyt and gamegetter II 2117 aluminum arrows with feather fletching. It was fun and I still have the arrows stuck together as my "trophy".

I would say that the odds go up drastically the more arrows you stuff into a small area. It would be a trophy if you were able to shoot a  "Robin Hood" with two arrows only, otherwise it is just an accident

Exactly. Why throw money away when you can just shoot at another dot.

My suggestion is get your first robin hood, save it as a trophy, then start shooting one arrow at a time, or at different dots.  Robin hoods get expensive fast!

It cool to do tell you start spending a lot of money on arrows I have lost 6 arrows to robin hoods in the last year,3 at 20yd's 2 at 30yd's and 1 at 60yd's. Now I have to go buy another half dozen to make up for the lost arrows

I had my first one last week. Shooting at 40 yards & shooting good groups. More luck at 40 yards than skill. Put it up on the garage wall. Did ruin two carbon arrows, plowed it dead center and buried in about 10 ". Nobody in family was excited or understood, so quietly mounted up on wall. Mike

Very cool, congrats on your first robin hood.  Shooting carbon arrows they get expensive when that back arrow is still perfectly good.

Yep, got my first, mounted it on the wall, and quit shooting groups.  Brand new arrows, and shots 1 and 2 are now permanently stuck together.........

I wont shoot at one spot more than twice at 20 yards.  With arrows being 120 bucks a dozen it would get too expensive.  Way to go though.

I have yet to robin hood my own arrow. I got a friends arrow during indoor small game league, it got me a 10 score and still got the arrow back. I don't shoot groups any more though, the price of arrows isn't worth it. I have enough trouble loosing them or breaking them during 3D. Congrats on a nice shot, if I ever do get one it will be hanging in the garage right above where my bow hangs.
