I haven't see a "due by" date for spring apps but I'm figuring it is on or around Feb 23 based on last years dates. There is time to put in. I'll be ghosting it this year but will be out and about in the Monroe unit and looking to pass on intel.

Oh Boy, here we go again.

First comes the "when/how do we apply?" questions.
Next comes the "when is the deadline?" questions.
Then the draw results questions.

Then, a month wait for the season to open.

Then, hundreds of posts between a couple of fellas about a bear.  Same two guys.  Entertaining, truly, but sheer pain for those of us who didn't draw.

Good luck, all!

A buddy had a spring bear in 2012.....could barely use the meat for crab bait....I shot mine in 2013 and it was a great eating bear. Probably depends on what it was binging on prior to slowing down for the winter.

My 2013 spring bear was the some of the best meat I have ever eaten...
