Would a spring bear make for a good first bear?  I'm at three points and counting, hoping this is my year

Heck yes! Spring bears will have a lot nicer coat then most of the fall bears taken. Less likely to have major rubs and the hair is very thick and lush.

I had a terribly long and unfruitful big game season(s) this year and my 300ws
Is still a death dealing virgin. I'm super stoked for spring bear and hope
My 6 points will get her done!

Does anyone know when the deadline is?  I drew the 1st year and saw several but they were always a sow and cub. Haven't drawn since.
