Just put my dad and I in, 5 points!  Average is 4 for our unit so hurry up and draw already!!!!! Good luck (to us) guys!  Also applied for multi elk and deer, 4 points for elk.

I haven't see a "due by" date for spring apps but I'm figuring it is on or around Feb 23 based on last years dates. There is time to put in. I'll be ghosting it this year but will be out and about in the Monroe unit and looking to pass on intel.

Oh Boy, here we go again.

First comes the "when/how do we apply?" questions.
Next comes the "when is the deadline?" questions.
Then the draw results questions.

Then, a month wait for the season to open.

Then, hundreds of posts between a couple of fellas about a bear.  Same two guys.  Entertaining, truly, but sheer pain for those of us who didn't draw.

well i dont see this brought up much so ill ask.  never having eaten a spring bear, how does it taste compared to a berry stuffed september bear?

A buddy had a spring bear in 2012.....could barely use the meat for crab bait....I shot mine in 2013 and it was a great eating bear. Probably depends on what it was binging on prior to slowing down for the winter.
