Power Ear Muffs (What to BUY?)
« on: January 02, 2014, 06:10:17 AM »
I'm looking for a quality power ear muff for hunting/shooting. I have a cheep pair and worked real well, been using them Duck hunting and yesterday they started to make a popping sound in the left ear. I see by reviews that Walkers are junk now?????? :dunno: So, you guys that hunt with power ear muffs lets hear what you use. Also, do they make a pair that you can tell what direction the noise is coming from? The pair I have now does not.

I like the Howard Leight Impact Sport's. I use two sets of batteries a duck season. :twocents:

I use the same , they are great for the price. $54.00 at cabelas unless you have a wholesale account then $47.00. I used them on a muke der hunt this year. I heard some does walking in the gravel in the bottom of the canyon over 300 yds away.

The one thing I don't like about electronic earmuffs is that you can't tell a squib load from a good load.  they clip off everything!  They are probably good for hunting, but not at the range.  Sorry to throw a wet blanket on the subject.  :twocents:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
