I currently boatless so I am shore bound. I have gone to Lyons Ferry the last two Wednesdays. This past week all I caught was a 4 pound sucker. The week before I caught a few. I did talk to a guy at the KOA park that was pulling his boat out. He said the water was 6 degrees cooler than last week so that might have had something to do with it. They did catch a few cats. It sounds like he comes over about once a week and fishes. He was rocking Idaho plates... Wish I could help more. I need to buy a boat but its not in the budget for now.
Unfortunately I will be at my National Guard training that day but I greatly appreciate the invite
Holy smokes machias, what river is that and how big was that brute?
