Sorry for the photo quality, this guy was over a half mile away and heat waves really ruined the photographs but he was just too big not to try.  He would have qualified for either the "Tall" or "Wide" thread, what a toad.

All my best bucks have been tall.  I am ashamed to say it, but I have never killed a mule deer with a spread larger than 22"...  Not sure what my deal is... :dunno:

I'd like to blame it on regional genetics, but the first buck is from central Montana, the second, third and fourth bucks are all 30-50 miles from each other.    The last buck was a marsh buck that I never hunted.  Saw him for about 3 days 2 winters ago and then he disappeared.
