Finding one make getting in shape for fire fighting even more worth it! Not big, but fun either way. It did amaze me that I even spotted it though. Haha

We go from the biggest of all sheds to this...

Anybody can find the big bones, but it takes real talent to spot the tiny tine!  2" blacktail shed, the smallest I've ever found.

You are not a true shed hunter until you find a spike or a button.  Nice job!

Sweet set  I have a shed from this year that looks just like the left side. Nice job on the matched set. I have one side from another nice buck and he is still packing his other side(4 days now). I have found sets side by side but you never know :dunno: How did you find that set, same day, side by side?

Thanks! Found them the same day about 200yrds apart. Sucks when they hang on to them like you're experiencing, can make it tough to get the other side at times.

Found a nice 6 pt. Rosie shed today. I think it's from last year, looks like it's been laying here for a while, but I don't care, still a nice find.

Talked to a fella today that is in the woods every day, he said he's had a few bulls he has been watching. He said one of them still had both sides on Tuesday, and then he saw it again on Thursday, and it only had 1 side left. sounds like the elk are starting to drop.

They were still packing on the east side this weekend where I was at.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
