PO river this morning
« on: December 29, 2013, 02:40:15 PM »
Well went up with a bud and got skunked! Seen a ton of geese but no boat to get to the other side and snow really came down in the morning!

It was the same for me and a buddy yesterday. Lots of geese but no other hunters out to move them around. But was nice to get out. What part of the river did you guys hunt?

Might go up this weekend solo. So if you are in need of a boat and somebody to hunt with let me know. Have all but the dog.

I think a buddy and I might take my lab up and try off the shore just passed leclerk creek. We have not been up there but want to check it out. Mostly a learning trip I guess. Tired of getting divers on long lake.  I just want a  goose! That is all!

Nice to know there are some birds north of the TriCities.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Thanks for the warning. Luckily I am very familiar with that area and I know not to hunt ot fish around the rez. I will be north of it. I can't wait to get out!
