Damn!  :o >:(

Classic example of knowing (or paying attention to) what is behind your target. Never happened to me, I will teach my boys so they never have it happen to them either.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!

Once that video is over.  There will be others to choose from on the bottom.  Click on the one about the rabbit.  Guy misses the buck and wacks a rabbit.  Crazy stuff.

When I was a kid my dad and I were hunting some dark timber.  I had already got my deer so I was just tagging along. We seen a nice buck up the hill about 50 yds away, my dad pulled up to shoot and his scope was fogged. He had tip over weaver mounts so he tipped the scope over folded up the rear sight and calmly shot the buck in the head...he was always cool, rarely ever missed. While we were walking up the hill to see his buck we caught a glimpse of something about 30 yds up the hill, it was a 2nd deer that was bedded in the sword ferns. He shot both deer through the head with one shot. Kind of took the wind out of our sails that day...This was not the case of careless shooting like the video, the second deer was well hidden in the ferns.
