A brief explanation that I am sure will still not make it clear to some why.... member x gets all bent out of shape, wants to take their ball and go play somewhere else in the playground, we oblige and delete their profile and then after a cool down period they want to come back. The behavior often repeats. Take ownership of what you post. By not deleting everything, this sometimes thwarts some of the behavior that some members might have if they have the option for cleaning the slate. We also wanted to take in effect how this cheapens the involvement of what active members may have posted. I am sorry you feel this is retarded. Just log off and don't look back. When you change your mind in three weeks after you find that awesome shed you want to brag about, you can log back in.
